Leah Harsfield Short Bio
Leah was named Principal of National Development in 2021 and currently directs the commercial Leasing
and Asset Management activities for the firm.. She serves a key role in identifying new industry trends,
managing strategic tenant relationships, and implementing best practices across the firm’s multibillion
dollar commercial real estate portfolio. She also sits on the Investment Committee helping to identify key
strategic investment opportunities. Leah joined National Development in 2013.
Prior to National Development, Leah worked at King Street Properties focusing primarily on life science
development, and CBRE as a downtown office leasing broker. Leah holds a bachelor’s degree in
communications from George Washington University. She resides in Brookline, MA with her husband and
two children where she volunteers for various school and town committees. Passionate about great
design, cooking and placemaking, she spends her free time travelling and exploring new cities and on the
tennis court. Additionally, Leah is an active member of the Building Committee for the Jewish
Community Center of Greater Boston and a Board Member of the Boston Children’s Choir.
